The Kassel-West city hiking trail leads past green oases, impressive villas and half-timbered houses through the districts of Bad Wilhelmshöhe, Wahlershausen,
Kirchditmold and Harleshausen.
On the southern edge of Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is the Mulang villa colony, consisting of the first summer and spa houses. A detour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is worthwhile. The path leads past the thermal brine spring "Unter den Eichen", Bad Wilhelmshöhe is also a health resort. In Harleshausen, you will pass the outdoor pool and the eco-settlement at the water tower. This was built from wood and clay with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind.
