The graffiti project was created in 2016 on a column on Wolfhager Straße. Back in 2010, she got the idea from the song "Stadt" (City) by the singer Cassandra Steen, which is about the hope of creating a new city together.
Since the northern part of the city was rather known as a gloomy and cold area, the artist wanted the theme. She herself lives and works in the northern part of the city and could not connect this at all with the picture she had taken: a warm neighbourhood where children laugh and play.
With the painting on the column, children complete their own beautiful city by wooden blocks placed on top of each other to form turrets. Depicted are playing hands playing the log house game.
The artist hopes that everyone will think about where they put their own piece of wood in the city.
