Swan Island in the Karlsaue

Whoever strolls from the Orangerie in princely footsteps through the idyllic Karlsaue will sooner or later arrive at the artistically designed Aueteich in the south-western part of the state park. Here you will also find the Swan Island, crowned by a picturesque little temple.

By the way, the golden sphere on the roof of the temple symbolises Jupiter and thus belongs to the planet hiking trail through the Karlsaue, which begins with the sun at the baroque palace Orangerie.
