The Brückner-Kühner poet's house is located in the garden city of Auefeld and was the residence, living and working centre of the writer couple Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner (both 1921-1996) since the mid-1960s. The poet couple lived and worked in this modest little house until their deaths. This is where the Poenichen novels of Kassel's honorary citizen were written, as well as the humorous prose and poetry of her husband. The living quarters have remained largely unchanged and, also through Christine Brückner's descriptions, appear as an authentic place of literary life.
