Special exhibition from June 12, 2026 to January 24, 2027

Zwischen Gestalten is Helga Gebert's first comprehensive solo exhibition and features around 250 works. The focus is on storytelling in the "in-between" - between word and image, past and present, reality and fantasy. With motifs such as water spirits, dragons or djinns, the artist makes in-between spaces visible and opens up new perspectives on familiar stories.

The exhibition sheds light on the interplay between illustration and tradition, between fairytale images and their interpretations. Cultural influences also become visible.

Interactive activities, a puzzle trail for children and an exhibition catalog invite visitors to explore the themes further.
