What began with three murals in Kassel's Schillerviertel art and culture district quickly developed into a project known beyond the region. Since 2016, the stock of large-format murals has continued to grow. Together with international artists, around 30 large-scale walls have now been designed in Kassel, which now form the "Public Art Gallery". KolorCubes offers guided tours of the Public Art Gallery on a regular basis and on request.
The project has been creatively active in the Schillerviertel since 2015. In an old industrial hall, an open art studio with a cultural office was created on 250 square metres. Guided tours and workshops, talks and cultural networking start there.
