Through its successful exhibition and event programs, Caricatura has made Kassel an important center for comedy and satire in Germany and collaborates with partners at the national and international levels. In addition to its rotating exhibitions, the satirical readings and stage performances are extremely popular.

In addition to its exhibition work, Caricatura is also committed to promoting emerging talent. This includes the annual Summer Academy for Comic Art—a project unique in Germany dedicated to the training and further education of talented artists in the field of comedy—as well as its collaboration with the Kassel Art Academy. Some participants have been honored with prestigious awards, such as the “German Caricature Prize” or the “German Cartoon Prize.”

Also worth a visit is the Caricatura Shop, which offers a wide selection of publications, exhibition catalogs, cartoon books, and postcards on comedy and satire.
