Facade painting without title

The artist Marishka Soekarna painted the façade of a private house in Harleshausen in cooperation with KolorCubes e.V. in the summer of 2021. 

In her works, women play a leading role. They interact with their surroundings, merge with flower buds, for example, embed themselves on plants or form breeding grounds for flora and fauna themselves. In addition to her free illustrative works, the artist regularly paints large-format murals and produces music.

Marishka comes from Jakarta, Indonesia. After studying art, she set up her own business as a freelance artist and graphic designer. As a Lumbung artist, she also participated in RuanGrupa's 2022 documenta fifteen.
