Living in a big city is wonderful. Only one thing is missing: the feeling of nature. So why not simply transport this feeling onto the street? This is exactly the question the artist SKAR asked himself and transformed the façade at Weserstraße 9 into a painting that is bursting with nature. The artist himself describes it as "urban city green".
Important in SKAR's visual language was the dynamic - horizontal lines meet free patterns as they occur in nature. The large lettering "SKAR" also creates a link to the classic graffiti scene. SKAR, whose real name is Konrad Fröhlich, was born in Berlin in the 1980s and has been involved with graffiti for over 30 years. Through his work, he wants to create a connection between graffiti and other media.
