Kunstweg Battenberg

The Kunstweg (Art Trail) connects Battenberg (Eder) and its districts Berghofen and Laisa over a length of 14 kilometers, situated amidst the wonderfully diverse landscape of the Ederbergland region. Experience a varied low mountain range landscape with wide views, meandering meadows along the Eder River, intricately used agricultural landscapes, rustic villages, meadows, forests, and countless stories.

Over the coming years, the Kunstweg is planned to expand gradually, becoming a new attraction within the region and beyond. Here, nature and culture, tradition and modern life intertwine while hiking. Art that accompanies hikers along the trail and brings them together with the local people is certainly a unique feature of this project. The Kunstweg Battenberg is located in the hiking region "Wandermärchen Burgwald-Ederbergland" and thus serves as an extension and complement to it.

Over the past years, 17 artworks have already been installed along the Kunstweg Battenberg.
