Worn paths wind through an ancient cultural landscape where even the Celts felt at home. The hiker crosses over the "Blue Stones" of the Schreckenberg to the extensive juniper heaths and grazing areas of the Dörnberg. These are sparse dry grasslands where the queens of the plant world, the orchids, thrive. They are meadows where fragrant herbs grow, exuding a touch of the Mediterranean. The hiker strolls through a collection of towering juniper figures that have been spared from the grazing of livestock, shaping the scenery. The path leads from the Helfenstein rocks to the Stone of Immelburg, Friedrichstein, Wichtelkirche, and Blumenstein. These stones are the source of local legends, with their bizarre basaltic column formations being nature sanctuaries for our ancestors and still serving as power spots for many people today. And in autumn, kites soar above this unique landscape.
