Bellevue Palace

building/modern architecture
The house at "Schönen Aussicht No. 2" has made the street name its own. The small town palace was built in 1714 for Landgrave Karl. He used it for his astronomical studies.
The Palais Bellevue is the only Kassel city palace from the early 18th century that has changed little from the outside to the present day. It served as a residence for various members of the princely family, including King Jérôme of Westphalia. Of the former palace garden, only the breakfast pavilion in the immediate vicinity remains today.

The building is currently being renovated.
