The multi-award-winning museum is located in the heart of Korbach's old town. Housed in an ensemble of historic buildings and modern architecture, the museum convinces with its didactic and visitor-friendly concept. Among other things, the more than 1000-year-old history of the town, the 250-million-year-old fossils from the Korbach Fissure and the evidence of gold mining on the Eisenberg are presented in an experience-oriented manner. Admission to the museum also entitles you to visit the GeoFoyer Kalkturm at the Korbacher Spalte.

April - October: every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, 2:30 p.m.November - March: every 2nd Saturday of the month, 2:30 p.m.
