UNI:Lokal is a central, open venue and exhibition space in downtown Kassel. It is an interactive space featuring a variety of events and exhibitions. From July 2 through September 26, 2026, the exhibition “Managing Households & Sticking Together – A Different Way of Living the Economy” will be on view.

Science in the Heart of the City

UNI:Lokal offers a diverse program of exhibitions and events and showcases interesting topics from the University of Kassel. All citizens are invited to engage in dialogue about current research questions and discuss various aspects. Through UNI:Lokal, the university strengthens its ties to the local community. With the SDG+Lab, UniKasselTransfer’s regional sustainability lab has moved into the space as a key partner.
