The UNI:Lokal is a central and open venue and exhibition space in Kassel's city center. An interactive venue with changing events and exhibitions. The exhibition Werkstoff Idee can be seen from January 28 to April 11, 2026.

Science in the center of the city

The university's offer in Kassel's pedestrian zone is intended to strengthen the connection between the university and urban society. This means that you can find out about the courses on offer and current research topics at any time. A varied program of exhibitions and events complements the offer. And with the SDG+ Lab, the regional sustainability laboratory has moved into the premises as the main player.
