In a former factory building in the Bettenhausen district of Kassel is a place of many possibilities. In the Sandershaus, visitors can experience culture, but also eat, live, celebrate, craft and be creative themselves.
In two event rooms in the house, regular concerts take place. The musical spectrum is wide - from rock, punk and hardcore to singer/songwriter, jazz and world music to house. A total of over 300 events from various cultural fields are organised every year.
In addition, there is a hostel, a café bar, seminar rooms, workshops, rehearsal rooms and accommodation for refugees under the roof. In the open wood workshop, professionals are on hand with advice and tools so that everyone can realise their projects. Electrical, electronic or mechanical devices are put under the microscope in the repair café.
