The Probonio Arena in Kassel is one of the most modern, future-proof and sustainable multifunctional arenas in the world.
The history of the arena begins on February 19, 1977 with the ceremonial opening of the Kassel ice rink. Following extensive renovation and modernization work, a state-of-the-art multifunctional arena has grown from the walls of the venerable Kassel ice rink in recent years.
Thrilling ice hockey matches, handball tournaments, ice skating fun for young and old, comedy and cultural events and unforgettable live concerts are already an integral part of the arena.
Various rooms in the arena offer the opportunity to host everything from exclusive company meetings and corporate events to smaller private celebrations. Every event is planned with great attention to detail and individual consultation with the Arena team.
With a capacity of up to 6,100 for an ice hockey match, the multifunctional arena in the center of Germany offers a new event venue that couldn't be more versatile!

Public skating:

The public run is limited to two hours. So grab your friends, your family or the whole skating gang, pack your hat, your gloves and of course your best skating moves and let the sparks fly.

Are you at least 14 years old and want to slide around the ice rink with your friends to cool beats? Then the ice disco is just the thing for you.
