Gallery party in the "Südstadt"

A MEANDER is more than just a new twist. This year, the Südstadt Galleries are creating an even more powerful cultural current that carves its own path through Kassel’s Südstadt district. The Gallery Festival not only brings art to life in galleries but also showcases contemporary art in temporary venues alongside traditional exhibition spaces: on streets, in stores, in storefronts, in backyards, and on building walls. The historic vineyard terraces are also included and promise a unique artistic experience.

Over three days, galleries and other venues will open their doors; artists will present their latest works and invite visitors to explore, discuss, and linger together. In addition to exciting exhibitions, a varied supporting program awaits you, featuring performances, workshops, and activities for all ages.
