Breakfast pavilion on the vineyard
Did Elector Wilhelm I (1743-1821) actually enjoy his breakfast here? In any case, the neo-classical round temple built on his behalf is the last remaining evidence of the garden complex that used to belong to Bellevue Palace and was located on the outskirts of Kassel. The palace itself, apart from the impressive Palais Bellevue, was demolished after the Second World War. What remains is the wonderful view from here of the Karlsaue and the southern part of Kassel, which was built later.
