Interpretation of a floral motif
This wall was designed by the Berlin artist Daniel Arab at the invitation of KolorCubes e.V.. The process and the finished mural marked the start of the socio-cultural event series "Culture in Motion".
Daniel is an artist who lives and works in Berlin. He is self-taught in Arabic calligraphy and draws much inspiration from these forms for his art. Together with his mother Heide-Marie, he has been running Colorblind Patterns in Berlin-Wedding since 2011. There they sell, for example, mugs, home accessories or textiles with the memorable patterns.
The painted wall is private property; the owner wanted a floral motif. Daniel fulfilled this wish in his own way.
