This mural by the Israeli artist Tamir Shefer is located in the heart of Kassel, directly at the corner of Treppenstraße and Wolfsschlucht. In cooperation with Prof. Hendrik Dorgathen from the Kunsthochschule Kassel, the city's cultural office as well as the university and the Holon Institute of Technology, KolorCubes invited the artist to Kassel.
Shefer realised this mural for the AKGG, the Paritätischer Hessen and the Haus der Sozialwirtschaft "Treppe 4". Thus, between the documenta fifteen artworks at ruruHaus and Treppenstraße, another mural was created through international cooperation for the Public Art Gallery in Kassel's city centre.
Tamir Shefer is an artist and has taught Visual Communication at the Holon Institute of Technology since 2002, as well as Interatkives Design at the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Israel since 2004. His art moves between comic, pop and archaic.
The artwork is part of the project "Public Art Gallery" by KolorCubes.
