City Museum

The Stadtmuseum shows in its exhibition and event rooms people, things, events; the most beautiful and the darkest moments of a city that today is in a steady upswing economically and culturally, that has experienced splendid times, that was almost completely destroyed in World War 2 and has dynamically overcome this catastrophe and its consequences. The house is a place of encounter and learning for all generations; it is open to the age groups who have "been through a lot" in their city; it is a place for the younger ones who will shape life in Kassel now and in the future.
