Welcome to the Brüder-Grimm-Platz in Kassel, steeped in history
Together with Königsplatz and Friedrichsplatz, Brüder-Grimm-Platz is one of the three large historic city squares in Kassel. It connects Königsstraße with Wilhelmshöher Allee and thus forms the intersection between the city centre and the visual axis to Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. In addition to the Hessisches Landesmuseum, the square is also home to the Torwache, the southern building of which was the home of the Brothers Grimm between 1814 and 1822. In the coming years, the square will be fundamentally redesigned so that it can once again live up to its original historical significance.
