In Kassel you will find the bikes of the bike rental system nextbike at locations all over the city. A total of 400 rental bikes are available at 56 stations.
- The smart bikes have seven gears, an individually adjustable saddle, a hub dynamo and a bike computer that controls the electronic fork lock.

- The customer service is available around the clock at 030- 69205046. A service team ensures that the rental bikes are regularly maintained and distributed at the stations.
- Students of Kassel University and NVV annual pass subscribers cycle at favourable special rates: Students have the first 60 minutes free on every ride and NVV annual pass customers have the first 30 minutes free per ride.
