The urban5gallery Kassel is an open gallery and non-commercial exhibition space that was founded in 2020. The aim of initiator Anna Denger is to create ideology-free spaces for diverse forms of expression and to fill empty spaces with art.
The programme is wide-ranging, and artists from all over the world are welcome. Painting, drawings, street art, sculptures, installations, light, video, sound, dance and performance art all find a place in the "urban5gallery", as do concerts, jam sessions, poetry slams, literary readings, lectures and workshops.
