Stand Up Paddling Rental

In the new trend sport of Stand-Up Paddling, you can conquer the Fulda River on your own. Due to the dam in Melsungen, you can paddle upstream towards Obermelsungen with almost no current.

If you stay quiet, you can get very close to duck and swan families, enjoying the beauty of nature. It's both a sporty and relaxing experience!

Note: It's recommended to wear swimwear, neoprene shoes, and bring a towel, as falling into the water is not uncommon.

Dates: May - October

Opening hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & holidays from 13:00 to 18:00.

Costs: Basic price for 1/2 hour: €9.00 Each additional 1/2 hour: €6.00

Rental Conditions:

Anyone who is not physically or mentally impaired and can practice stand-up paddleboarding without endangering themselves or others is allowed to rent.

Rental is only available to individuals aged 16 years or older with a valid ID.

For minors, the rental contract must be signed in person by a legal guardian.

The renter confirms that they can swim. It is advised that due to the risk of accidents associated with using the SUP board, wearing a life jacket and leash is mandatory. Always connect the rigging and board with the safety leash (leash).

According to the rental agreement, the landlord provides the renter with a technically flawless SUP board, including accessories, for exclusive and self-responsible use on the Fulda River between Zwei-Pfennig-Brücke and upstream towards Obermelsungen/Malsfeld.

The use of the SUP and accessories is at your own risk. Sharing the equipment with others is not allowed.
