The Connichi is hosted and organised by fans for fans and the Animexx e. V. association. Since 2003, fans of Japanese art have met annually in Kassel in September. Numerous competitions, discussions and workshops attract fans to northern Hesse. Well over 25,000 guests from all over the world come to the event.
