The documenta archiv in Kassel is also participating in this day of action. The in-house restoration department will present exciting case studies from its daily work in a special studio exhibition. The exhibition provides a hands-on demonstration of the methods and technologies used to permanently preserve valuable contemporary artworks, delicate artist’s books, and rare video formats for future generations.
