Sjaella Vokalensemble - In the midst of the branches

Sjaella has been a permanent fixture on the universal vocal music scene for years, performing at renowned festivals and winning first prizes at numerous competitions. Concert tours have recently taken the ensemble to South Africa, Belgium, Spain and Norway.

With "In the midst of the branches", Sjaella dedicates itself to the great and small wonders of nature, which we seem to take so much for granted that they sometimes lose their significance. But how would we live without the song of the birds, without the seasons, without the perfectly timed processes that occur monthly in the female body? In baroque and contemporary musical garb and in several European languages, Sjaella sings about nature and the different creatures in it, but also about longing and other stories of the heart.
