The pianist Johannes Friedemann first gained international recognition when he performed Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto at the fiftieth anniversary of the Berlin Philharmonic. His performance was broadcast several times on television by Westdeutscher Rundfunk. He was a guest soloist at the Münsterland Festival and performed at the Venice Biennale and the Gewandhaus Leipzig, among others. In 2023, he played the world premiere of a piano concerto on the occasion of the World Climate Conference in Dubai. He has won numerous prizes and awards.
