Autumn and farmers' market

Experience a long-awaited highlight on Sunday, 21 September: the traditional Hann Münden autumn and farmers' market opens its doors from 10:00 to 18:00 for a diverse experience for the whole family.

Look forward to an impressive variety of stalls presenting agricultural delicacies, artistic crafts, farm shop treasures, nature conservation initiatives and charitable projects. Browse through stylish decorative items for your home or garden, discover autumnal fashion and exquisite accessories such as bags and jewellery. Sample homemade jams, fruit spreads, tantalising liqueurs, refreshing syrups as well as fresh vegetables, crunchy straws and eggs straight from the producer.

Immerse yourself in the fascination of craftsmanship: at some stands, you can experience live demonstrations where a ropemaker reveals the art of rope making and fresh bread is baked right in front of your eyes. Of course, culinary delights are also provided thanks to a selection of food stalls.

The heart of the market extends across the picturesque town centre of Münden, around the town hall and the impressive St. Blasius Church. You can also take the opportunity to explore the city centre shops from 12:00 to 17:00 during Sunday shopping.
