Discover art and culture in Kassel
==================================

Kassel is more than just the documenta city, here international art meets a vibrant cultural scene. Whether you explore contemporary artwork in the museum “Neue Galerie”, follow historical traces in the city museum or visit one of the temporary special exhibitions. Kassel's museums landscape is as diverse as it is inspiring.

Kassel also convinces on stage: the Staatstheater Kassel delights the audience with opera, dance theater and drama while the independent theaters such as Theater im centrum and Theaterstübchen provide exciting impulses. Those who take a closer look will also discover the fascinating street art on walls and facades as well as the outdoor artworks of previous documenta exhibitions throughout the city.
